A Quick Guide to this website

SageData is based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

This Web Site is divided into three principal sections: Applications, Learning, and Products.

Applications

The technologies lend themselves to specific applications, and we discuss those applications here. They include Inventory Management, Asset Management, Inspections, Manufacturing, Proof of Delivery, Maintenance Tracking. Again, we try and keep this section generic, but as above, we sometimes use our products or established systems to illustrate a point.

Learning

In this section we provide general information about our core technologies. We keep this generic, and the information provided is not specific to SageData (though we slip up from time to time, and perhaps use specific examples to demonstrate a point). Feel free to browse, to get a general idea of the capabilities, the strengths and weaknesses of specific technologies. We address handheld computers, barcodes and RFID, as well as other related topics.

Products

In this section we talk about the specific products we offer, and how they can be of benefit to you. There are five elements to most of our installations: System Design, Software, Hardware, Labels, and Support. We examine those here, and begin to get into the specifics of our systems, how they work, what they can do for you. We also address the details of specific hardware: mobile data collectors (handheld computers), barcode readers and printers, and RFID readers and tags. You can find information on barcode labels, pre-printed and plain stock, in this section.

Admin and Housekeeping

At the bottom of home page, you will find support links, a site map, quality assurance information, privacy statement, etc.
